SB3 - Scotch Bass
This SB3 is the essential mallet for the Scotch Bass drum. It is 12" long and built upon a heavy-gauge aluminum shaft. Keeping with custom, the mallet is crowned with a squared-off, medium density felt head. Traditionally used in high-stepping marching bands, this design was encouraged and assisted by John Mullin, owner of Century Music Center in Decatur, Georgia.
